Anyway.I wasn't in the mood to go to school after hearing about the massive charges I unknowingly racked up,so I made my mind up while walking towards the Circle Line platform to take the train going to Dhoby Ghaut instead. It was like a 45 minute trip, and then I reached Orchard. So I walked off,and I was walking through a literally empty Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City. Can you imagine empty shopping malls? The McDonald's wasn't even opened yet,so I walked to The Heeren for some breakfast chow. Then I walked over to Cineleisure to watch a morning movie.Tried to watch Kick-Ass,but the lady told me I wasn't old enough :( ,so I watched Date Night instead.I felt so self-conscious,because there were 7 people in the theater, and 3 couples.Guess who was the odd one out?Awkward, but the movie was entertaining. It was good,Steve Carrell and Tina Fey were funny, and Mark Wahlberg's cameo was funny, especially the Radioshack joke. After the movie,I went to a Starbucks and sat out until Chin Bin reached Somerset, then we went to Cineleisure to watch Shutter Island. It was a good movie, not a horror movie,it's more of a psychological thriller. The twist at the end was classic.I liked it a lot.I would have enjoyed it much more if people in the audience weren't so immature. Some dude laughed really loud at every reference to sex.I mean, seriously, what the hell.I wish I had a lead pipe to hit him over the head with.
Anyway,it's been a shit week because of the whole SingTel thing, but if that didn't happen, then I guess it would have been a pretty good week.I played FIFA with Obenza on Monday,it was epic.I kept making stoppage-time winners or kept coming back. Now I know what being the Terminator feels like, you don't die,you just keep coming back.I'm starting to pick up the fine art of playing Barcelona football, and it's so awesome.
OK,anyway I'll keep you guys updated with my war with SingTel.Keep a lookout for future posts,or stories of explosions in the news.Ciao.
